On Tuesday, May 21, and Wednesday, May 22, from 7 a.m. – 2 p.m., Notre Dame Security Police will conduct annual training activities at the Pasquerilla Center. Employees and visitors may notice a heightened security presence on campus during this time period, as local emergency personnel from South Bend and St. Joseph County will also be participating in the exercises.

A section of the Library parking lot will be cordoned off for the drills. Employees and visitors are being asked to avoid the area around Pasquerilla Center and the southeastern corner of the Library parking lot on those days.

Digital road signage will be placed on campus to alert visitors that the activity is a drill and not a live emergency situation. Please share this information with any guests that you may be expecting on campus during this time.

This important annual training prepares our campus emergency personnel to maintain their readiness in the event of an actual emergency.

Thank you for your cooperation and all that you do to ensure that Notre Dame remains a safe place for all of our students, faculty, staff and guests.

Yours in Notre Dame,

Michael D. Seamon
Associate Vice President, Campus Safety
Director Game Day Operations
