If you want insight into mobile technology development at Notre Dame, plan to attend the 2013 Notre Dame Mobile Summit from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 11, at the Eck Hall of Law and the Morris Inn. Registration is required.
This year’s theme is “How can mobile technology help to achieve the University’s goals?” Keynote presenters include:
- Women’s basketball coach Muffet McGraw, and Natalie Achonwa, student-athlete
- Carol Bothwell, chief knowledge officer, Catholic Relief Services
- Daniel Ryan, former front-end developer, Obama for America
- Jason Kunesh, former director of user experience, Obama for America
Breakout sessions will focus on how mobile technology can impact teaching and learning, student success, and user engagement; and a “state of the platforms” for all major mobile platforms. For the first time, the summit will include a vendor fair featuring Microsoft, Sprint, Verizon, and Mophie in addition to Notre Dame mobile innovations. See the full schedule.
