Free teen driving program offered

Car/Key to Safe Teen Driving

In partnership with the Mid-Ohio Driving School, Key Bank presents: Key to Safe Teen Driving, a free program for teens age 15 ½ to 20, conducted by professional instructors from The Mid-Ohio School. The program teaches teen drivers skills that are not taught in normal driver’s education programs. Register at Register at KeytoSafeTeenDriving.com

Sessions begin at 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 12:15 p.m., and 2 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, July 13 and 14.

The three-hour course takes place in the Joyce Center parking lot and will include:

  • Classroom instruction
  • Wet braking practice (in own vehicle)
  • Emergency lane change practice (in own vehicle)
  • Skid car instruction (in Mid-Ohio skid car)
