Live broadcast theater: The Cherry Orchard

Performances of Chekov’s The Cherry Orchard, atarring Zoë Wanamaker, will be broadcast live from London’s National Theatre to the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center Thursday, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday, June 30. Tickets are $16 to $20.

The play is directed by NT Associate Director Howard Davies, whose recent productions of Russian plays such as Philistines, Burnt by the Sun and The White Guard have earned great critical acclaim. Zoë Wanamaker stars as Madame Ranevskaya.
